Ohhhh lordy, Shawn. When I see people fall and break their necks I piss myself from laughing before I'm horrified of the blood that got everywhere. It's horrible, but, when you're in marching band and you play Medusa, thinking about dead puppies to keep a straight face makes your mind used to more horrific things. I always write my stories on paper, but what you said explains why I just write and write and write until my hand cramps up. I'm sorry about what happened to your tour bus, by the way. I hope the damage was paid for by them. They sound like mean drunks..stay away from that kind o_o
As for your religion lesson today, My dad believe aliens put us on earth. Yes. He is for real. No, he has not been abducted...yet. xD I'm wondering when he'll get piss drunk enough to convince himself he was abducted by aliens and assaulted sexually. Honestly, I'm not a very religious person either. I mean, it's nice to believe there's a better place than here, (is there, anyway?) and I swear, when I first played Dante's Inferno, it almost made me a devout christian. I was upset the Greek Mythological people were in hell. Blasphemy for some religion you had never heard of? THAT'S blasphemy..

Shawn it is so interesting to hear(read) what you have on your mind. I enjoy your music greatly and I actually was talking about "alesana" the other day and how nice and humble you guys were when you played in ND and it's refreshing when the bands you love aren't too "big" to meet the fans. "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice." - James 3:13-16. And God definitely has a sense of humor. He enjoys a good laugh too. It's amazing what he's done with the world..and the lives of others. He gave you great talent. I'm glad you can share with us your abilities with music. It's very much appreciated.
Even when you just ramble on, I can't stop reading! You are so talented in more ways than one. Songwriting, singing, writing in general etc.
