hello everyone, i hope you are all doing well...
well it is that time to begin talking about our new record! we just finished up in the studio with producer Kris Crummett and we are BEYOND excited. however excited we have been in the past about any of our records, simply multiply that by 100,000,000 and that is how excited we are!!! there are so many surprises on this record and we could not be more proud of the results!
everyone has waited so patiently to learn of the name of our new work and we are proud to inform you that the new alesana story is called:
THE EMPTINESS
this collection of songs is way more than just a record... it is an experience. it is the story dennis and myself have been wanting to write since day one and our dream has finally come to be. as each day, week, month passes little pieces of our adventure will start to come clear until the day the story is released in january. we know you will be just as thrilled as we are once you close your eyes and join us in our adventure...the emptiness will haunt you...
we are hitting the road this september with our friends The Bled, Enter Shikari, Asking Alexandria, and Broadway and YES we will be playing some new material. please come out and rock the stage with us! for those of you on the west coast, we will be seeing you in december when we will also be playing some new songs!!
finally, it has been quite awhile since we put a different song on our myspace page so today we decided to do it!
"Obsession Is Such An Ugly Word" was our favorite track off of the last record, "Where Myth Fades To Legend" so we figured why not put it here on myspace! pimp it out and add it to your profile players everyone!!
